Do I need a specific editor to use a skin?
No. Every download includes multiple file formats that work in any video editing software — Premiere Pro, DaVinci Resolve, Final Cut Pro, CapCut, InShot, iMovie, or browser-based editors. No plugin, no install, no new software.
What if I only film on my phone?
Every skin download includes a pre-composited MP4 specifically designed for smartphone creators. Import it as a picture-in-picture overlay in CapCut or any mobile editor. Four taps from download to exported video.
Do I have to mention the brand in my video?
No. The skin is a background overlay — it appears naturally in your scene without requiring you to hold the product, mention it verbally, or alter your content. Standard #ad disclosure is required as a caption per platform guidelines, but no verbal endorsement is needed.
How does payment work for creators?
Brands pre-deposit campaign budget into escrow before any skin goes live. When you publish and submit your URL, we verify your view count via the platform API. Flat rate payments release same day. Per-view royalties are calculated monthly and paid automatically.
How do brands track ROI?
Every skin includes a unique campaign URL visible in the frame — a landing page that exists nowhere else in the brand's marketing. You also receive verified view counts by creator and platform, engagement data, and a monthly performance report.
Can brands control which creators use their skin?
Yes. Brands set parameters at upload: minimum average view count, content category, audience age range, and geographic composition. Creators who don't meet these criteria don't see the skin in their library.
What is the minimum following to apply as a creator?
There is no minimum follower count. We assess average views per video and engagement rate — not subscriber or follower numbers. Apply regardless of your size.
Is this available outside the UK?
CreatorSkins is launching in the UK in 2026 with brands and creators based in the United Kingdom. European expansion is planned for 2027.
